My Approach to Therapy
My passion is to see Christ work hope and healing in the lives of others through a strong therapeutic alliance. As a result, my part of that alliance includes a family systems lens with attachment theory and developmental perspective. I desire to encourage others in their journey of restoration. My education and training as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist has broadened my understanding of the ways our family of origin and history has impacted all other relationships in our lives. Those relationships include the relationship we have with ourselves, others and God. Although I often work with children and their families, attachment developed in early life has affected us all. My goal is to be able to integrate faith, grace, and evidence-based practices as I strive to understand each person on a deep level.
